We are a member of the MetroWest Basketball League and sponsor approximately 16 teams in that program each year. MetroWest has divisions for both boys teams and girls teams with age brackets from 4th grade through 8th grade. We typically submit 2 teams for each age/gender bracket, 5th through 8th grades.
For 4th grade children, we create 4 tournaments teams, 2 boys & 2 girls, to participate in local tournaments in the February and March months.
We are a non-profit organization, and 100% of the money that we receive goes back into the league to pay for such things as: facility upkeep and renovation, janitor's fees (a surprisingly high percentage of our total operating budget), uniforms, referees and, when neccessary, gym time at area basketball facilities.
